Polarizing filters are used to preferentially admit or block polarized light. Light can become polarized by reflection or atmospheric affects. Therefore, polarizing filters can remove unwanted reflections from surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colors providing better contrast.The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and varied by rotating the filter. The filtering affect varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun.

The Cyclopital3D Polarizer attaches to the front of the Cyclopital3D Auxiliary Lens Adapter, (required and must be purchased separately.) The Cyclopital3D Polarizer incorporates three rotationally synchronized circular polarizers, two for the camera's lenses and one for you to look through and evaluate the effect while you rotate the filter.
